Just because of pure curiosity: is any developer interested in this or are the
users left alone watching their machines freeze for almost 10 months now?

Is there anything I (or any other user) could do to provide more info? Maybe
apply a patch, send debug log, try this or that?

It's really so sad to see absolutely no progress but more complaints for that
long...
