Subject: [Ocfs2-devel] [PATCH 10/16] Ocfs2/move_extents: helper to probe a proper region to move in an alloc group.
Date: Fri, 18 Mar 2011 14:35:37 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1300430143-23909-11-git-send-email-tristan.ye@oracle.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1300430143-23909-1-git-send-email-tristan.ye@oracle.com>
Before doing the movement of extents, we'd better probe the alloc group from
'goal_blk' for searching a contiguous region to fit the wanted movement, we
even will have a best-effort try by compromising to a threshold around the
given goal.
