Hello Mark and all,
Last week, I proposed to have an IRC channel for OCFS2 in tools maillist
[1]. I'm afraid most people probably didn't even notice it.
So, I bring up here with a right subject. Really hope it helps:
#ocfs2 on freenode, you can
login through website[1], or Thunderbird[2]. Welcome!

[2] https://webchat.freenode.net/
[3] Thunderbird -> cat -> irc -> freenode(default)->your nickname->irc
connected->join chat->#ocfs2
Eric

There is an ocfs2 channel in zeniv.linux.org.uk.

Thanks for your heads up. I failed to join in with #ocfs2 without
password. If it needs password,
what is it? Or I'm wrong with the channel name?
It would help a lot if we can explicitly record a IRC on official website;-)

There is no password and the channel name is #ocfs2. I am unable to
connect using Thunderbird and it is not verbose in providing logs.
However, could you try with another client such as irssi and check the
error you receive? The server does not use SSL.
