Hi,

please do me a favor and don't hijack the digest thread. This makes it
kind hard to figure out what's your actual topic of the posting and it
is might easily overlooked.

the timeout seems to be a problem on your side. Does pinging
git.kernel.org works? Can you view git.kernel.org in your browser.
