Hello Rémi
well I was asking, because the papers / blogs speak about something like "birth of a competition framework to Android". I don't want to evaluate but the intention seems to be differerent then, apart from the facts that one is C/C++ and the other is Java.

Hello
I am interested to know which kind of feature range the ofono platform
is intended to have once. Specially are there plans to provide a
framework of ready-to-use gadgets, i.e. for user interfaces, graphics,
application components ?

I am not sure what you mean. We certainly intend to provide some context
informations relevant to the modem, such as operator network name, radio
technology, signal strength... that you can use to fill in UI gadgets.

But Ofono is fundamentally a set of DBus APIs. It is not intended to
include actual "UI" code in my understanding.
