To avoid patching dozens of scripts, i use this bbappend for python3 
until the time comes to make it the default:


do_install:append:class-target() {
	ln -sf ${bindir}/python3 ${D}${bindir}/python
}

FILES:${PN}:class-target += "${bindir}/python"
