Put it together with ifelse() and conditional() instead, where it better 
belongs.

You can also implement it as:

def vartrue(var, iftrue, iffalse, d):
    import oe.types
    return oe.utils.ifelse(oe.types.boolean(d.getVar(var), iftrue, iffalse):
