What I did to remove these:
I checked that we should remove those using default protocol git for git fetcher:
$ find meta* \( -name *.bb -o -name *.inc -o -name *.bbclass \) -exec sed -n 's/.*"\(\w*:\/\/\).*\(;protocol=\w*\)/\1 \2/p' {} \; | sort | uniq
