Hi All,

After some recent issues in infrastructure the mailing lists at librecores.org
have been shut down. This was brought to my attention earlier this week and we
have migrated all users over to to a new mailing list hosted on the
vger.kernel.org infrastructure.

This is good news as it should provide a very solid mailing list for our future
OpenRISC discussions.

Sorry, I don't have too much more information on whyy the librecores.org
infrastructure went down. But it does seem to follow the announced shutdown of
librecores[1].

If you want to manage your subscription please do that via vger.kernel.org[2].

Next steps:
 - I have requested to get archiving setup on lore.kernel.org
 - I will be sending out a kernel patch to move the OpenRISC risk development
patches over to this new list.
 - Need to update the OpenRISC website.
 - Update any other projects linking to the old list.

Thank You,

-Stafford

Thanks for taking care of this!

Do you have a good archive of the old mailing list to populate lore,
or do you need help to fill in some gaps?

My local archive goes back to November 25th, 2013.
Oh, it was called linux@lists.openrisc.net those days ;-)

We do have most/all of the librecores.org history archived to lore already[1].

I don't have that old history and would love to have it up on lore if possible.
Let me CC you on my other mail to see what we can do.

Thank you,

-Stafford

Oh, I had missed the old list was already archived...
Probably you want to have everything merged into a single archive.

OK, I know what to do. Been there, done that before ;-)
It may take a while, though...

Thanks for saving the mailing list. This is very important for the
OpenRISC ecosystem.

These have been done, however the kernel patch hasn't made it upstream yet. I
will send a pull request to Linus for that shortly.

John,
Could you help add the lore archive[1] the the linux-openrisc vger section[2]

Thanks,

-Stafford

I have just sent my archives for
  - openrisc.lists.librecores.org (openrisc@lists.librecores.org)
    2016-03..2023-02 (5167 msgids)
  - openrisc.lists.openrisc.net (openrisc@lists.openrisc.net /
openrisc@openrisc.net)
    2013-10..2015-11 (524 msgids)
  - linux.lists.openrisc.net (linux@lists.openrisc.net / linux@openrisc.net)
    2011-05..2018-05 (542 msgids)
  - openrisc.lists.opencores.org (openrisc@lists.opencores.org)
    2013-10..2016-05 (603 msgids)
to Konstantin.

If you you have older archives, or want to fill in the possible gaps,
you can follow the procedure[1] starting from my
openrisc-combined-known-ids.txt.xz[2], and share the new emails with
Konstantin.
