There is no fix or workaround right now, like I said above this "looks" lik= e a bug caused by HP's EC or BIOS. Assuming you tested with amd-pmf in place and it really is the same root ca= use described above (only by power adapter) I was thinking about it and this so= unds like it could be a race condition.
