The "-serial COM3" option gets my COM3 port as ttyS0 in Linux. Doing a ppp
dialup gets my PAP script password accepted, followed by IP addresses for
the guest dialer and the name server, followed by a series of NOAK messages
from the ISP dialed into and ppp debug messages.
Is this a known bug in Linux ppp using a host Windows modem?
