Just curious, how do you know that this build really works?

Is very probable that it is not a problem of QEMU, but of that alpha build
of Longhorn, as the longhorn build 3683, that have a similar fail (It asks
you to put Windows XP Professional CD on A:).

Test it on real hardware, then post.

Yes, the same build works on real hardware (on the other partition of
the system I'm running Qemu on). 

I downloaded Longhorn from #winbetas. It has very little that's new in
it - OSX/ Feedesktop.org style compositing, and a half implemented
indexing system.
