I guess you will be disapointed:
SPE extension is used for "Signal processing engine" in PowerPC 2.03
specification and is no way related with Cell SPEs, as far as I know.
It's a set of DSP like and floating point instructions used in some
embedded PowerPC implementations (some Freescale cores, for example),
using 64 bits GPR for all operations.
