Subject: [Qemu-devel] [PATCH 20/20] memory: allow phys_map tree paths to terminate early
Date: Tue, 14 Feb 2012 11:27:50 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1329211670-11548-21-git-send-email-avi@redhat.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1329211670-11548-1-git-send-email-avi@redhat.com>

When storing large contiguous ranges in phys_map, all values tend to
be the same pointers to a single MemoryRegionSection. Collapse them
by marking nodes with level > 0 as leaves. This reduces tree memory
usage dramatically.
