Subject: [Qemu-devel] [PATCH 30/32] qdev-monitor: Unref device when device_add fails
Date: Wed, 4 Dec 2013 08:34:37 -0600 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1386167679-13021-31-git-send-email-mdroth@linux.vnet.ibm.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1386167679-13021-1-git-send-email-mdroth@linux.vnet.ibm.com>
From: Stefan Hajnoczi <stefanha@redhat.com>
qdev_device_add() leaks the created device upon failure. I suspect this
problem crept in because qdev_free() unparents the device but does not
drop a reference - confusing name.
