Subject: [Qemu-devel] [PATCH 1/1] hw/arm/virt: increase max SMP CPU support to 8 for ARM virt
Date: Thu, 21 Aug 2014 10:51:23 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1408632683-26861-1-git-send-email-wehuang@redhat.com> (raw)
Current ARM virt model supports up to 4 CPUs. Given that many recent
ARM servers contain 8 or more cores, it is time to bump up max guest CPUs
to 8. This patch was tested with a VM runnng 3.15 Linux kernel. All 8
VCPUs showed up.
