Our configure script was recently equipped with a new --disable-tcg
parameter, but this does unfortunately not work on s390x hosts yet. Fix
the build by moving some code around and by adding some few #ifdefs
in the right places.

Thomas Huth (5):
  target/s390x: Move program_interrupt() & trigger_pgm_exception() to
    interrupt.c
  target/s390x: Move s390_cpu_dump_state() to helper.c

  target/s390x: Move exception-related functions to a new excp_helper.c

misc_helper.c won't be compiled with --disable-tcg anymore, but we
still need the program_interrupt() function in that case. Move it
to interrupt.c instead, and refactor it a little bit to re-use the
code from trigger_pgm_exception() here, too.

translate.c can not be compiled with --disable-tcg, but we need
the s390_cpu_dump_state() in KVM-only builds, too. So let's move
that function to helper.c instead, which will also be compiled
when --disable-tcg has been specified.

misc_helper.c won't be compiled with --disable-tcg anymore, but we
still need the diag helpers in KVM builds, too, so move the helper
functions to a separate file.

These functions can not be compiled with --disable-tcg. But since we
need the other functions from helper.c in the non-tcg build, we can also
not simply remove helper.c from the non-tcg builds. Thus the problematic
functions have to be moved into a separate new file instead that we
can later omit in the non-tcg builds.

Adding some CONFIG_TCG tests to be finally able to compile QEMU
on s390x also without TCG.

Hi,

This series failed automatic build test. Please find the testing commands and
their output below. If you have docker installed, you can probably reproduce it
locally.

I moved the code without changing it, so these are not new style issues.

I would like to take the opportunity to split the kvm and tcg versions apart.
Primarily because the tcg half is noreturn, and I keep having to add
g_assert_not_reached after calling it to avoid other Werrors.

That might also help with the ifdeffing a little so you can write

   if (kvm_enabled()) {
     kvm_program_interrupt(...);
   } else if (tcg_enabled()) {
     tcg_program_interrupt(...);
   } else {
     g_assert_not_reached();
   }

Wow, git diff really made a mess out of that one.

These ought to be if (tcg_enabled()), surely.

I've tried that, but it does not work: s390_cpu_class_init() is called
before tcg_exec_init() (where tcg_allowed is initialized). So
tcg_enabled() always returns 0 here. ... so I guess I better keep the
patch in the current shape, especially since x86 is doing it this way,
too: http://git.qemu.org/?p=qemu.git;a=commitdiff;h=79c664f6
