I tried it with the config provided in http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/qemu/vl-test-0.4.1.tar.gz but without luck. Of course I patched the offset at the two locations. I see Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel and than eats the vl process my cpu and does nothing at all. Gruesse, Thomas ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 5+ messages in thread

But now with the right config from 2.4.20 it boots but I have still problems: The problem occurs in arch/i386/kernel/time.c line 690 Greetings, Thomas (excalibur) [/scratch/qemu/vl-test] ./vl.sh warning: could not open /dev/net/tun: no virtual network emulation Uncompressing Linux... It should solve the problem you have. BTW, I found a QEMU bug with 2.4.x, but it occurs only if SMP is activated. Fabrice. Thomas Glanzmann wrote: >>I tried it and it works OK.
