Subject: [Qemu-devel] Snapshot mode / shutdown
Date: Thu, 24 Jun 2004 23:27:03 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200406242327.03885.jm@poure.com> (raw)
Dear all,
When a guest with apm is running in snapshot mode:
Should Qemu exit completely on guest shutdown? In such a case, there is not
always enough time to commit changes to disc. Would it be possible for Qemu
to stop and display a message like:
"You are running in snapshot mode. It is the last time that you can choose to
commit the changes on disc. On the contrary, if you would like to shutdown
now, close the window."
before complete shutdown.
Cheers,
Jean-Michel
