Thanks, that works well. Strangely (?), doing this also fixed the
"bottleneck" problem I described in my other email. The program no
longer runs excruciatingly slowly at certain parts in the execution--it
is fully useable. I don't quite understand why/how the display driver
should be connected to this, but WORKSFORME, so I'm happy.
