Subject: [Qemu-devel] i386-softmmu on ppc: Knoppix guest OS does not read the amount of installed Mem
Date: Fri, 10 Jun 2005 18:04:15 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20050610160415.GB3017@cs.unibo.it> (raw)
i386-softmmu on linux-ppc
Knoppix cannot read the amount of installed Mem.
Is says:
Total memory found: kB
then if fails as there is no space to load init.
(instead of
Total memory found: 126912 kB
)
It worked fine with the 2005 April 23 version of the cvs thus it has
been broken by one of the latest changes.
The current cvs works like a charm on i386 (with or without kqemu), this bug
affects only ppc hosts.
I've had no time yet for a more detailed analysis.
Fabrice, any idea about where is the right place to investigate?
ciao
renzo
