Hi,

I want to boot an external USB2 harddisk on amd64. Host
and guest are amd64.

root@foo# qemu-system-x86_64 -k de /dev/sdb

Grub starts fine. In grub the image is visible:

grub> find /etc/HOSTNAME
(hd0,1) (SuSE9.3)

I boot the system, initrd starts fine, but
it can't find /dev/hda2 (or hda at all).

I can boot from the external harddisk without problems. Mounting
it on the host is fine, too.

I tried the -hda and -boot option without success.

Tried 0.7.0 and the snapshot of 2005-07-10

Any ideas why hda is not found?

 Thomas
