Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if the problems running Windows Server 2003 with
applied SP1 inside qemu are already located/fixed?

As of currently I am using qemu 0.7.2,
and the problems previously reported ( as seen here:
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/qemu-devel/2005-04/msg00188.html )
still persist (Windows Update, MSN Messenger and Windows Media Player are freezing the system/session).

Sincerely,

Adrian

it was working fine for me, both with 0.7.1/0.7.2
You need to make sure you install the right nic-driver :)

Hello,

whats the problem with the NIC driver?
It is the same as before I applied SP1 to the Windows 2003 Server
installation; at least I guess. And it worked fine then.

if I recall well, 2003sp1 would not detect the nic
properly. I had to google for a driver.

if your installation detects the nic driver, don't bother
about my previous post. I guess I need to try again
sooner or later myself too :)
