Hi,

I note that there's a lot of recent progress on the USB side of things.
This is great.

Just thought I'd mention that it would be very useful to have the
USB support be more persistent, in the case where the device itself
resets, and appears to have been unplugged and replugged.

This happens for devices like the Blackberry.

It would be nice to specify an ID such as 1234:5678 while the device
does not yet exist, and when the device is indeed plugged in, it
appears to be plugged in for the guest system as well.
