If savannah is doing this, let's just set up another list somewhere?

I don't know how many subscribers qemu-commits has, at least 3, now
multiply that by 1.6Mb those two patches alone would have generated
per subscriber and thing again whether it's a good idea.

Silently dropping patches is not great, either.
Send a summary if the patch is too long.

Easiest is to subscribe to the rss feed for the git tree. It gives the
summary and links to commits.

Anthony, could you please make git send commit mails
to that list in addition to the one at savannah?
