Strange, using qemu.git and an F14 guest (2.6.38) using this cmd line:
./x86_64-softmmu/qemu-system-x86_64 -m 512 /guests/f14-suspend.qcow2 -net none -enable-kvm -smp 2
I could successfully hibernate and resume.
