Subject: [Qemu-devel] [PULL 38/38] s390x/cpumodel: implement QMP interface "query-cpu-model-baseline"
Date: Tue, 6 Sep 2016 09:47:10 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20160906074710.13495-39-cornelia.huck@de.ibm.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20160906074710.13495-1-cornelia.huck@de.ibm.com>

From: David Hildenbrand <dahi@linux.vnet.ibm.com>

Let's implement that interface by reusing our conversion code and
lookup code for CPU definitions.

In order to find a compatible CPU model, we first detect the maximum
possible CPU generation and then try to find a maximum model, satisfying
all base features (not exceeding the maximum generation).
