Done.

I also took time to run 'make check' with all targets on ppc64le, ppc64be,
i686 and ppc32 hosts.

Everything passes for ppc64le, ppc64be and i686.

It fails on ppc32 but this seems to be a TCG issue (QEMU fails with SIGILL
in code_gen_buffer()), not related to this patchset.
