We are a group of three students studying BE computers.
Our final year project deals with providing security to application data from a malicious OS.
We require a hypervisor in which when privileged instruction is executed, the control is directly transferred to the VMM like in VMware workstation.
Does virtualbox/QEMU provide the same feature?
Please can anybody tell me how system calls are executed using virtualbox/QEMU??
Also is there any OPENSOURCE hypervisor providing features similar to VMware workstation?
Thanking you all in advance!!
-Pallavi
