Am I the only one that thinks the name of the above project is *terribly* 
confusings?  I didn't see the "KDE" part in there, and thought a new verion 
of kqemu was out.  It was only after I viewed the tar.bz2 file and then went 
back and re-read the e-mail that I realized what it really was.  A new name 
might be recommended.

The KDE gui has existed for much longer than the kernel module.

I Agree. it would be better to change the name.
I've already sent an e-mail to luke galea to tell him about this.
I hope the project of KDE GUI For QEMU will change the name soon.

KQEMU the GUI was first, kqemu the accelerator stole the name.

KQEMU is called KRDesktop now iirc.

Well, according to the QEMU website, QEMU is a trademark of Fabrice Bellard.
To use QEMU in a product name would require permission from Fabrice to be on
solid ground, morally and legally.
