guest -> host wasn't even working for me, and this fixed it.  I'm 
running KNOPPIX guest on an XP host.

I earlier sent an updated patch (fixes a memory bug in a non-broken way).

Please try out the new patch and make sure it works for you.  If so, 
that patch is better.
