Hello Developers,
there is a Problem with Windows98 SE/Floppy/qemu 0.61.
My Host: Fedora Core 2.0
If i go in Explorer to "a:", then there is a Bluescreen:
"General Protection Fault 0D at Adress F000:00000935".
With Version 0.60 that works perfect. The Problem is with an Image or
with the real Device /dev/fd0.
I start Qemu on the Commandline with:
"qemu -hda /win98.img -pci -cirrusvga -localtime -fda /dev/fd0
-enable-audio -user-net -smb qemu"
NT 4 as Guest now works perfect.
At this Place great Thnak to all Developers of Qemu!
Stefan Becker

Fabrice.

It could have been mine, when updating DMA API i just did
a superficial update to fdc.c and asked floppy gurus to
review the changes, but this never happened.
Sincerely,

I ran crafty on both qemu and qemu-fast. The nodes per second was about
15 times better on qemu (when compared to qemu-fast). I thought code
copy should be faster. Am I doing something wrong? Or is there an
explanation for this?
Thanks, Shivkumar Shivaji
