Subject: [Qemu-devel] Linking cvs failure on amd64
Date: Mon, 13 Jun 2005 23:58:52 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <42AE019C.2070304@broadpark.no> (raw)

I tried to compile qemu cvs on amd64 (linux host), and got this:

make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/qemu/qemu/i386-user'
gcc -g -Wl,-T,/usr/src/qemu/qemu/x86_64.ld -o qemu-i386 elfload.o main.o
syscall.o mmap.o signal.o path.o osdep.o thunk.o vm86.o libqemu.a
gdbstub.o   -lm
/usr/bin/ld:/usr/src/qemu/qemu/x86_64.ld:62: parse error
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

The offending line 62 is the middle one of these three:
  .eh_frame_hdr : { *(.eh_frame_hdr) }
  .eh_frame       : ONLY_IF_RO { KEEP (*(.eh_frame)) }
  .gcc_except_table   : ONLY_IF_RO { *(.gcc_except_table) }

Any ideas?
