Hi all,

I just commited the (long-awaited) network option change. The new
network options are no longer compatible with the old ones and add
several new features such as multiple VLAN emulation and sharing of
VLANs between several QEMU instances.

You can have more information by reading the "Invocation" section of the
QEMU documentation. The default network configuration is similar to the
old "-user-net" so that most users won't notice a difference. Users of
TAP host interfaces must change their configuration to something like:

qemu -net nic -net tap ...

WARNING: as the code is rather new, regressions are possible !

Fabrice.
