Hi,

just fyi: I tried to merge [1] and [2] and to distill a
"Quick start guide"

http://kidsquid.com/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/QuickStartGuide

from it. Maybe someone find it useful. I do ;)

Additionally, I agree to the first paragraph of [3] that it
would be nice to have a link to the Wiki (and to the
QuickStartGuide? ;) ) at a more prominent place on QEMU's
homepage. I think this would help to avoid [4]. Fabrice, if
you like it, maybe you can think about it.

Regards

Dirk

Hi,

Thank you for the advices. I modified the web site: tell me if you see
other problems.

Regards,

Fabrice.

Great! Many thanks!

I'm not sure, but I think I can remember that in the
download area there was a link to the QEMU daily snapshots
(I think called "mirror"?) at

http://qemu.dad-answers.com/download/qemu/

Do I overlooked anyhting or is it gone?

Yes, I know, under "Links" there is a link to
qemu.dad-answers.com, but there I wasn't able to find a link
to the download area with the snapshots as well. Only my
bookmark list helped me here ;)

Best regards

Dirk

Just an idea: What's about splitting KQEMU kqemu-xxx.tar.gz
into two archives, one for Linux and one for Windows? If
Linux is tar.gz and Windows uses .zip, people don't need a
third party tool to extract tar.gz under Windows.

Regards

Dirk
