Yes, I am seeing it too. I think they have some mail server problems.
Maybe these mails were never delivered and stuck somewhere or something...
Maybe it's time to migrate QEMU web page, CVS (maybe to GIT?) and mailing
list somewhere else? I think I can provide some professional and free
hosting (including private virtual server if needed) for developers of
QEMU and other QEMU related resources if there is any interest.
Thanks,

All parts should go together without forcing. You must remember that
the parts you are reassembling were disassembled by you. Therefore, if
you can't get them together again, there must be a reason. By all
means, do not use a hammer.

Some from June too :)
It's a real pain, but I guess we have to live with it.

At least in some cases it is mail which got stuck in the list's
incoming queue and wasn't delivered.

I noticed that. Some of the emails weren't in the archive. It might be a
good idea to look through them--some seemed somewhat important. I "deleted"
them, but they're still in Google's trash.

I woke up this morning and saw an absurd amount of messages for qemu-list
too. 136 messages for me.

About a month ago, I used 'fetchmail' to copy mail from an IMAP folder to
gmail. I accidently used the wrong flags, and about 100 messages were
redelivered... Perhaps someone else has accidently done the same thing
with messages from this mailing list?

I just read through all of those mails and there were some interesting
bugreports and patches which didn't make it to the list. So the core
devs / Fabrice should check, if those patches can help qemu despite
their (now) old age.
With regards,
Jan
PS: This whole thing is strange. Did nongnu.org issue some news item on
this, yet?

Stranger IMHO was, that some of those messages were already replied months
ago - it appears that only some of us didn't get that pack immediately.
