I am currently running windows version of Qemu. I can
get
the dsl.iso to boot into xwindows but once it boots i
can't move the mouse to get into anything ie...
xterm...
My OS is WinXP PRO and i'm emulating damn small linux.
Am I missing something?

My OS is the same and it works.
Which binary version of qemu are you using ?
Did you do your own compilation ?
Which version of dsl.iso ?
Mine are qemu 0.7.1 (own compilation) and dsl-1.0
