Subject: [Qemu-devel] svn trunk -r 6967: qemu-linux-user-sh4 linking error

Message-ID: <49D4C3DD.1020302@opensuse.org> (raw)
Hi,
currently, I see a linking error on host linux / i386+x86_64 for the qemu user sh4 emulator:
AR sh4-linux-user/libqemu.a
LINK sh4-linux-user/qemu-sh4
/usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.3/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: Dwarf Error: Offset (2009) greater than or equal to .debug_str size (264).
libqemu.a(op_helper.o): In function `helper_movcal':
/usr/src/packages/BUILD/qemu-0.11svn6967/target-sh4/op_helper.c:128: undefined reference to `cpu_sh4_is_cached'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [qemu-sh4] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/packages/BUILD/qemu-0.11svn6967/sh4-linux-user'
make: *** [subdir-sh4-linux-user] Error 2
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.84234 (%build)
I tested that with Fedora, Debian and openSUSE host oses.
Is there anything known about that?
Martin
