Subject: [Qemu-devel] ANNOUNCE: Release 0.10.2 of QEMU
Date: Mon, 06 Apr 2009 21:17:24 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <49DAB7B4.8000604@us.ibm.com> (raw)
The QEMU team is pleased to announce the availability of the 0.10.2
release. This is a stable release of the 0.10 tree and contains only
bug fixes since the 0.10.1. The attached Changelog includes all of the
changes that have went in since 0.10.1.
It can be downloaded from Savannah at:
http://savannah.nongnu.org/download/qemu/qemu-0.10.2.tar.gz
It may take a few hours for the Savannah mirrors to update so if you get
an error, try again later. Alternatively, if you change "/download/" to
"/download-noredirect/" you can avoid being redirected to a mirror.
N.B. Among other fixes, this release includes a data corruption fix in
qcow2. If you are using qcow2 images, it is strongly recommended that
you upgrade to this release.
- fix savevm/loadvm (Anthony Liguori)
- live migration: fix dirty tracking windows (Glauber Costa)
- live migration: improve error propogation (Glauber Costa)
- qcow2: fix image creation for > ~2TB images (Chris Wright)
- hotplug: fix error handling for if= parameter (Eduardo Habkost)
- qcow2: fix data corruption (Nolan Leake)
- virtio: fix guest oops with 2.6.25 kernels (Rusty Russell)
- SH4: add support for -kernel (Takashi Yoshii, Aurelien Jarno)
- hotplug: fix closing of char devices (Jan Kiszka)
- hotplug: remove incorrect check for device name (Eduardo Habkost)
- enable -k on win32 (Herve Poussineau)
- configure: use LANG=C for grep (Andreas Faerber)
- fix VGA regression (malc)
