FYI, trying to do a Debian install results in:

Trying to write invalid spr 536 218 at 00000000014034d4

Followed by a tight loop of writing empty characters to the serial port.

My command is:

ppc64-softmmu/qemu-system-ppc64 -cdrom
~/isos/debian-6.0.1a-powerpc-DVD-1.iso -boot d -m 512 -serial vc
-monitor stdio -M pseries
