Dear Sir or Madam,

I have got a question.
I would like to run QEMU with the KQEMU Accelerator
under Linux 10.
I need the file, which is able to compile with GCC4.
When does the new Version comes out and where can I get it?

Thank you for your help

Yours faithfully

Julian Curzi

I made sure that kqemu was installed and runs, but I still get an error
message that it is not activated.

[root@]# qemu -hda WinME.qemu.img -net nic,model=rtl8139
Could not open '/dev/kqemu' - QEMU acceleration layer not activated

Furthermore, if I do modprobe kqemu, it tells me that /dev/kqemu does
not exist.
Also, even thuogh I installed the RTL8139 driver, networking doesnt work
in WinME, but does in XP, any idea why ME doesnt work?
Does someoen maybe have an alternative download link to a newer or
newest RTL8139 driver for ME?

Thanks

salut

i compiled qemu and kemu

KQEMU module configuration:
kernel sources /lib/modules/2.6.8-24.13-default/build
kbuild type 2.6
...
...
make -C /lib/modules/2.6.8-24.13-default/build M=`pwd` modules
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.8-24.13-obj/i386/default'
make -C ../../../linux-2.6.8-24.13 O=../linux-2.6.8-24.13-obj/i386/default

i can run qemu without problem

the problem is kqemu

sbin/lsmod|grep kqemu
kqemu 43272 0

i think 0 mean kqemu is not used...

how to resolve that?
