Usually, that's a sign of you not compiling your self-built version with the same configure options as the pre-compiled version available from your distro, coupled with mismatched files. Nothing at all to do with qemu. When asking on the libvirt list, make sure to mention your distro and the set of options you passed to ./configure when self-building. --=20 Eric Blake eblake redhat com +1-919-301-3266 Libvirt virtualization library http://libvirt.org --DnC6XTGefg4bEo41dkCgEI33oJaFwNuIc Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 Comment: Public key at http://people.redhat.com/eblake/eblake.gpg iQEcBAEBCAAGBQJT2Q0PAAoJEKeha0olJ0NqWWgH/3l+pFTch/dI6+dtuoyh6Jvr dgC9Iq2ORnyxqvmtvAEDV3nCKiXubVtKCQhK6ESfZ1gsriDrFvZq/Js54M5ZjMNY hpt9GQSXnKXEovfErVNdJsNJNOlYbrjERU2lAcE4JdGzeEZu6ve71uNT+mN4GeT/ /gMpNRsmKpGREwS9Z7kjWRZT5tT2IeR9UE6gn3Lfo5JHLkW5FLg4TvAr+yhpZpU1 fgD/9xCkMEcLFrb35H/bDLxWBwyKqmDLhV6gSTkv2PeyQugA/ZwuPt9AqMeG6N7C k06/AjBXq3j5j3cpeT5hZljq+ynVBfqrEO3HDH+HJJi8b10QwI5svrrGGO+vTCU= =Kmx1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --DnC6XTGefg4bEo41dkCgEI33oJaFwNuIc--
