[Qemu-devel] remaining patches for rc2?

[Peter Maydell]

This is the set of things I have on the list for "should ideally
get into rc2":
 * AArch64 migration fixes
 * VNC patches to fix CVEs
 * recent exec.c changes broke ppc OSX/OpenBIOS boot

Anything else?

Hi Peter,

I have one more TriCore fix 
(https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/455433/), that could go into rc2. Is 
there a good point in time for you, when I should send a pull request?

rc2 is scheduled to be done on Tuesday. "by end of the
previous day" is a good idea for pull requests that
should go into an rc.

Here are some open patches from my queue:

All three are ARM related, so maybe you are interested to use them for rc2.
The first one is more important than the other two - those can wait for a
later release.

The s390x fixes I posted on Thursday, will send a pull request later

We seem to be still a little way off on a couple of these
so I propose that we delay rc2 til Thursday, when I think
we should be able to have fixes in master.

Andreas, Markus, what's the status of the device-add changes?  Are we
going to fix PReP or is that delayed to 2.4?

These all look sensible and safe, so I'll put them into
a target-arm pullreq later today (together with the
migration fixes, hopefully).

I like Andreas's patches to fix PReP's pc87312 well enough, but I can't
justify taking them this close to the release.

We still need my "[PATCH v2 for-2.3 0/5] Contain drive, serial,
parallel, net misuse".  I can post a pull request if that's useful.
