That particular issue is fixed - we treat unknown packets as "set device 
address" which is a really dumb default ;).

The main change we needed for ADB to work properly was to switch from a 
2-byte header to a 3-byte header. There will be patches for that too and 
I'm happy to ensure you're on CC when they go out :). Unless you want to 
beat us to it of course...
