~/qemu/alpha-softmmu/qemu-system-alpha -m 1GB -monitor
telnet::4440,server,nowait\
-kernel vmlinux.img-2.6.26-2-alpha-generic -initrd
initrd.img-2.6.26-2-alpha-generic\
-net nic -net user -hda alpha.qcow2\
-drive file=debian-5010-alpha-netinst.iso,if=ide,media=cdrom -append
'root=/dev/hda3' #-serial telnet::3000,server -nographic
linux boots - i can login/run programs -> "working"
uncomment the -nographic parameters and you get the PCI: ... message
over telnet localhost 3000
io usualy add -serial telnet::3000,server -nographic to my qemu runs on
mips,sparc,x86,x64,ARM etc - alpha seem
to behave different, or is the linux kernel itself the problem source?
