I'm not the biggest-fan of mid-expression #ifdefs. Can we rewrite this
to look more like:
#ifndef EAI_ADDRFAMILY
#define EAI_ADDRFAMILY EAI_FAMILY
#endif
and leave the conditional expression unchanged?
