I squashed path 5 into mine, thanks a lot for the fix.
Patch 1-4 applied on the pci branch.
Patch 6 breaks mingw build (-lutil isn't present) so it's still pending.

I am still looking how to setup mingw. Any hints? Is compiling on windows simpler?
