Sorry but I am new to this. Is it too late to talk to some mentor for Google summer?

Sorry for being late

I am working on project in which we have add support of a board in QEMU. We
have to add some virtual devices in QEMU. The question which I want to ask
that what should I do to add virtual device. And after adding that device
in \hw in which file I have to make changes so that program access that
hardware when it need it. Because the device which I have to add is the
device which is already available, but in our board, this device has
different architecture, so we want our program to access that file which we
have made for our board instead of file which is already available in
QEMU....

Hi all;

I know that cd_read_sector function (which is called from
ide_atapi_cmd_reply_end) in ide.c will copy data from the CD-ROM to an
intermediate buffer, but I could not find out when this buffer is written to
the RAM. All of what I can see is after reading data, ide_transfer_start and
de_set_irq are called, but then what? how data will go to the RAM? if data
will be copied to the RAM implicitly through the interrupt, then where can I
find the ultimate function that copies the data to the RAM.
Can any body answer my question? it will be very appreciated.

Thanks,

...Mohammed

Hello,

When running qemu 0.6.1, it at first accepts all keyboard input. But after
clicking on the window with the mouse and also after releasing witl ctrl-Alt,
the screen does not accept keyboard input any more. Is this a bug?

Is there an example somewhere of how to let two qemu sessions communicatie
over tcp/ip?

kind regards,
