Hi,

I have not actually tried to run it with the current CVS without my patch,
but I don't see why it would work now since the critical part hasn't
changed. The problem is that write()s to the oss.fd sometimes fail and the
CVS code just exits on failure. Since a failure won't screw up anything,
it should just be ignored.

If Johannes Schindelin's de-templated audio patch works and can be
committed to CVS, this won't be an issue anymore since the problem is
fixed in Vassili's latest audio patch.
