Host was WinXP and guest was Linux 2.4 and 2.6. Both OSes were on (different) partitions on the same disc. It worked ok and I had never any dataloss. But no guarantee of course :-). I do not know if it will work with QEMU. But feel free to tell me about your results. Grzegorz Kulewski
